Green Light for 196 Apartments in Castle Hill
by Grand Reve ▲ Tuesday 30th Mar 2021

Kassis Homes will move ahead on a 196-apartment project in Castle Hill after gaining approval from the Sydney planning panel and taking advantage of amendments to the local environment plan.
The 13- and 18-storey buildings, to be called Grand Reve and built on a site at 6 Garthowen Crescent, have an estimated cost of $69 million.
The project, led by Sam Kassis, will replace seven residential homes on a 6063sq m amalgamated site near Castle Towers Shopping Centre in the suburb, which is 30km north-west of the Sydney CBD.
The two buildings, designed by Turner Studio, would be connected by a common brick podium over the top of four levels of basement parking with 236 spaces.
The application was submitted in mid-2020. It will be one of the first to use The Hills LEP, which enables building heights to grow from 9m to 57m and zoning from medium- to high-density residential buildings.
